Once your order is processed, we aim to send your items as quickly as possible. At the moment, we post just once weekly. If you need an item quicker, please email me at shop@cottagehandcrafts.ie and I will aim to get you your parcel as quickly as possible. If required, we can gift wrap, add a note and send a parcel directly to someone for you. Just let us know that it is a gift, in the additional notes section, when checking out.
The ‘Click & Collect’ option is available for those in the Connemara region. You will be contacted by us after your order is received to schedule a pick-up time that best suits you.
If you are purchasing something that is out of stock, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time. You then will be given an option of proceeding with the sale or cancelling it.
Ireland (North & South)
We offer a flat postage rate of five (€5) euro for all orders sent within Ireland. Your parcel will be sent with track and trace through An Post. Delivery can take between 2 – 5 working days to get to you. During peak times, such as Christmas, delivery may take longer.
Within the EU
We offer a flat fee of twenty euro (€20) for all orders sent within Europe. Delivery can take 5 – 8 working days to get to you. During peak times, such as Christmas, delivery may take longer.
UK
We offer a flat fee of nineteen (€19) euro for all orders sent to the UK. Your parcel will be sent with DPD couriers & delivery can take between 2 – 5 working days to get to you. During peak times, such as Christmas, delivery may take longer. Please see below for duty and custom information.
Rest of the World
Parcels sent weighing up to 1 kg will cost twenty-two euro (€22). Parcels sent weighing between 1 kg and 2 kg will cost thirty five (€35). Parcels weighing 2 kg – 3 kg will cost fifty six (€56). Parcels weighing 3 kg to 4 kg will cost sixty four euro (€64). Parcels weighing 4 kg to 5 kg will cost seventy two euro (€72). Please see below for duty and custom information. Delivery can take between 6 to 12 working days to arrive. During peak times, such as Christmas, delivery may take longer.
Duty / Sales Tax information
When your purchases arrive in your own country, they may be subject to duty or other taxes. If this is so, Cottage Handcrafts will not be responsible for any charges due or charged by customs. Every country’s policy and import taxes are different and we have no control over these charges. You, as the customer, are seen as the importer of goods and must comply with all the regulations of your country of residence.
